  • ShanaNoTsukaima

    Thank you, Great Video, I learned new useful things for my blog and websites!

    This is very interesting. I wasn’t aware that wordpress was such a target from hackers. This is also a warning for people who want so desperately more comments that are willing to accept anyone without checking first.

    Yes wordpress must be kept patched – same as all cms packages – I suppose because it’s so easy for a hacker if they check your wordpress version then just look up the known vulnerabilities.

    My wordpress blogs requires comment moderation before they go live – it gets LOADS of spam!!!!!!

    @manfmnantucket It may SEEM contradictory,m but it’s actuially not: Google SERPs just now favor bigger sites, but it’s not like the top 5 results are now only ever pages the same 300 most popular domains. Also, as he said, if you have lots of useful,original content, Google will crawl and index it, and more people from other sites will link to you, thereby making YOUR site more legitimate, credible, and important. It’s a matter of working hard to create value–LOTS of UNIQUE value.

    Look at Matt’s face when Vanessa talks to him around the 29th minute you can see he is really annoyed

  • valsen

    @wicked4u2c I was just thinking the same!

  • adrianTNT

    @LifeTubes Vennessa needs to? Look at the other, you know who I am talking about, I don’t want to point it directly :)

  • adrianTNT

    @wicked4u2c and Matt replies, “- Yea.. (whatever)” :) )

  • arshammirshah

    I love these sessions.. I wish they’d happen more often than once a year.. actually, I? think I might host one myself :) – with Matt’s permission of course..?

    Long video but some good info. Need to listen carefully as quiet.

  • Hergonan

    Hahaha, that “weird face in turkey” is Ataturk. :P

  • shareworlduk

    Great video… Very interesting so far… Only on 15:05 though cos my iPhone keeps freezing the video after 15minutes – I want to know what that bit of javascipt is in the source of the 4th site!!!!

  • LifeTubes

    Vanessa Fox definitely needs to get laid.

  • JakeTheFakeReal

    @thelostagency Took the tip.

  • wicked4u2c

    It’s annoying how Vanessa keeps interrupting Matt while he answers questions.

  • manfmnantucket

    Cannot believe MC is recommending including long-tail keywords to rank (28:27) , when MayDay update just punished sites which follow that advice.

  • thelostagency

    This is worth taking the time to watch, grab a beer and sit back at watch it contains some really good usable points.
