Yup, tepat bulan Januari 3 (tiga) tahun yang lalu tepatnya tahun 2010, aku memutuskan untuk resign dari pekerjaan yang sudah mapan dan jabatan yang bisa dianggap “mentereng” oleh mertua  . Tapi seperti curhat yang pernah aku tulis dipostingan “Resign dari Kerja Offline untuk Full Online?” beberapa bulan sebelum resign, pekerjaan offline sebagai karyawan dan kerjaan online, memecah fokus menjadi dua sehingga kedua-duanya menjadi kurang maksimal baik dari sisi hasil maupun penghasilan.
Dan bulan ini, Januari 2013 tepat 3tahun setelah aku memutuskan untuk resign, aku ngerasa sangat bersyukur mengambil keputusan “resign” itu, karena di satu sisi aku tidak lagi merugikan perusahaan tempat aku bekerja dengan mencuri-curi waktu untuk “nyambi” kerja online. Dan disisi lain aku bersyukur karena rejeki untuk keluargaku ternyata tidak dikurangi hanya karena aku resign dari tempat kerja.
Meski kalau dilihat grafiknya naik turun, tapi aku benar-benar menikmati hidup sebagai pengangguran, kerja bebas se-enak “udel” nya sendiri dan gak pake “udel” orang lain.  Mau ngadepin laptop sampai malem juga gak ada yang ngomelin, kurang enak apa coba. Gak enaknya cuman satu, kalau mau ngajuin kredit baik kredit mobil atau KPR gak pernah dipercaya. Otomatis, beli rumah, beli becak roda empat atau motor musti pake duit cash semua. wkwkwkwk..
Anak, istri dan mertua juga sudah maklum dengan pilihan yang aku pilih, tidak ada yang komplen apalagi demo. Yang penting khan setoran lancar jaya, kebutuhan keluarga terpenuhi bisa beli beras, bayar listrik dan bayar biaya sekolah anak (sekolah anak masih gratis ding..!!) . Alhamdulillah ya…sesuatu banget, setiap hari adalah anugrah dari Alloh SWT, rumah sudah ada, becak roda empat sudah ada, istri masih nurut dan anak juga udah lengkap (cowok-cewek)…. “what a wonderful life”.
