@Gannondalf It IS water proof and rip-resistant. American money is impossible to dissolve, and very difficult to tear.

@FFVImaster same here i am always faced with the problem of my money ripping or some other problem

@hero99a Not so fortunate for me bro. You use Canadian, I use Indian.

  • hero99a

    that’s smart o.o

Plastic notes are designed to lose easily. So many people here complain about the notes sticking together, so there is more care needed when parting with these notes. However, NOTHING will ever suffice for the Fictitious Language used on ALL paper/plastic money. The Ten Dollar Aussie note has the poem “The Man From Snowy River” in microprint, which cannot be seen with the naked eye, therefore it is “hidden”. There are messages on ALL banknotes, which are merely postage stamps with a number.

That is pure GENIUS!!! I can’t wait for Canada to get plastic money.

@Gannondalf i get your point.. but our money looked good in mission imposible 1

sorry but the danish 100KR. bill from the 1997 series in the intro isn’t made from plastic but from cotton paper :)

  • Gannondalf

@nickster1318 agreed…. i mean, from a small distance away, you cant tell the difference! but with australian dollars, we got all kinds of different colours… however… i do think american money does look “cooler”… if you know what i mean… cause you see on movies, american money looks good.. and then you see some foreign money and its all gay and colourful… its hard to explain, but after watching tons of american films, colourful money looks out of place in a movie.

  • nickster1318

@Gannondalf lol i thought the same till i went over there….and there money is just boring hate on movies when they have a suit case full of money and its always american looks boring would be so much better with the colourfull aussie notes

  • Gannondalf

@nickster1318 lol my dad puts notes through the washing machine all the time… ive never had any US money, so i dont know what its like… i kind of assumed their governments wouldnt have such shitty money… i thought that, even though it was paper, it was still waterproof and pretty rip proof…
i guess i overestiamted their governments intelligence.

  • nickster1318

@Gannondalf who cares atleast it dont rip as easy as american and other and get all soggy in the water lol ive put mine threw the washing machine so many times lol

  • nickster1318

    @veronikaboucher682 fuck off

  • Gannondalf

im from australia, and with our notes, they are good. but if one little nick gets in it, its fucked… its soooo easy to rip if it has the smallest rip in it

  • Captainbob25202000

@kittybadcat i agree with what you say the problem is the environmentalists they will these will hurt animals in the ocean blablblah…anyway if they were made of recyclable or reusable then it would be good

  • kittybadcat

@Captainbob25202000 but if they consider the resources that go into replacing a paper note yearly versus a plastic one that lasts for 20 years or more, would there be a change in attitude?

  • vikkiXvenom

Yay for NZ having plastic money! FTW and I must say I also agree that the US money is gross ekkk

  • ClaireClooney

@samuel1430708 Why would you want to burn your money? Is this a common practice where you come from?

  • ClaireClooney

@daledeloy The US hasn’t’ even switched to the metric system yet. It’s one fo the three remaining countries in the world who haven’t. The others are Burma and Liberia. Baby steps…

  • Captainbob25202000

@FFVImaster i doubt we might have this in america people will start bitching that it’s bad for the environment and .

  • LecolecoxD

in Mexico we already have plastic money
